In this essay I will critically analyze diversity within the National Health Service NHS. I will focus briefly on barriers to accessing health care services based on age, race, disability, gender, culture, and sexual orientation. I will consider the barriers that have been unintentionally put in place within different health sectors. Paraoxonase is a family of enzymes with diverse biological functions.
