Works Cited Indentation Mla / [2024]

  • Works Cited Indentation Mla

The list of works cited usually appears at the end of a research paper or presentation. Double interline. The list of works cited is double-spaced. Withdrawal suspended. Each works cited entry must be formatted with a negative indent. A hanging indent means that the first line of each reference is left-aligned and subsequent lines are indented. Highlight the entire list and click Format gt Align & Indent gt, Indentation Options. Under Special Withdrawal, choose Suspended from the drop-down menu. Set indent. 27cm. When hanging indent is applied, for each reference, every line except the first is indented. This helps the reader see where one entry ends and the next. Start your works cited list on a separate page at the end of your article. Double space all your quotes, but don't add extra spaces between quotes. Spacing should be consistent across the entire list. Use a hanging indent for each quotation by indenting the second and all subsequent lines of a quotation.
