Worldwide, thousands of wild animals are used in circuses and forced to perform degrading and unnatural tricks to entertain audiences. The welfare of domestic and wild animals is often seriously compromised in a circus environment. Born Free is completely opposed to the use of wild animals in circuses and believes that both animals and humans deserve the same respect. As a human being, we must respect and protect this life form from suffering simply because it has no voice to defend itself and we have the power to do so. We want a circus, yes, but without animals. Because animals are not clowns.
